NATURAL finishes & fibers

We’ve done wenge, and we’ve done white.

This season the trend is to go au naturel.

How to Execute it:

Incorporate a single piece into your existing aesthetic, like this fabulous table from Keith Fritz. With classical proportions, great lines and stunning cashmere grey birdseye maple finish - this makes a modern and luxurious addition.

Take the trend outdoors with David Sutherland’s Poolside collection.

Implement the trend in an even more subtle - but impactful way. This Tai Ping Nexus rug from the Bloom Collection offers organic

design – in fine wools and sumptuous silks. almost redundant.

Wall coverings continues to be a hot trend. Take it to the next level with new textural tone on tone looks to add luxury to any room.

How to Execute it:

Explore Artes stunning Amazone 2 Collection. Inspired by the Amazon rainforest, the collection offers a myriad of amazing colors and unique textures.

SIMPLY WHITE

The Benjamin Moore color of the year 2016 is Simply White. Although the selection raised many eyebrows, it offers the perfect canvas for pairing high contrasts fabrics and pieces.

How to Execute it:

Go for bold and beautiful with this Samba Charcoal curtain from Cowan & Tout’s Jane Churchill Fall Collection.

The Jane Churchill 2015 Fall Collection “Samba,” features a host of decorative fabrics focusing on a vivid palette, stylized geometrics, and whimsical embroideries.

UNIQUE ILLUMINATIONS

Not just your typical lighting fixture, look for

new materials and new organic designs. Install truly unique pieces that can serve as a focal point for the room.

How to Execute it:

Explore Allison Paladinos state of the art dimmable LED collection of lighting fixtures and sconces. The collection incorporates Fine Art Lamps exclusive studio process of dichroic rough-cut sculpted glass,

conceived by Fine Art Lamps master, glass artist, Frank Englesby. Each rough cut gem glass is lit by (small and high efficacy) hidden

LEDs highlighting a subtle dual-colored reflective brilliance.

Go for the dramatic with Serips nature-inspired works of art. What I love most about these unique pieces is that they will give opulence to any room. They are handcrafted in bronze and glass.
