Taiwanese luxury yacht builder, Horizon Yachts will debut its Fast Displacement series at this years Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The series brings a combination of contemporary design aesthetic, with distinctively roomy interiors and flexible speed. The FD85, a design collaboration between renowned yacht designer Cor D. Rover and Horizon’s in-house naval architecture team, offers the ultimate indoor/outdoor cruising experience ideal for the US market. Sporting a five en suite guest stateroom layout – with an on-deck Master, and four staterooms on lower desk, plus crew quarters aft, and an expansive main salon with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and sliding doors, and dining forward.
Reminiscent of a luxury resort, her exterior spaces include a spacious aft deck with seating for up to 12 guests, and a multifunctional open flybridge with a helm station, seating, BBQ grill, wet bar and Jacuzzi tub, as well as a hi/lo swim platform. The FD85 includes the new High Performance Piercing Bow (HPPB) designed to ensure enhanced performance and stability. An incredible 23’3” beam highlights the 85-footer’s contemporary-styled interior, which invites in copious natural light thanks to the large windows throughout.
The FD series also includes the FD74, FD87 Skyline, and FD102 models.
Five additional Horizon yachts will be on display at this year’s FLIBS: the RP120 superyacht, the brand new RP110 superyacht, the award-winning E88 motoryacht, and the popular PC60 and PC52 power catamaran models.
