Miami’s master of Thai cuisine, Piyarat Potha Arreeratn, aka “Chef Bee” is expanding his offerings with the launch of Sunday brunch at his restaurant, NaiYara in the Sunset Harbour neighborhood of Miami Beach. Chef Bee pledges to “make brunch great again,” and so he has, with a pleasing variety of menu options, from light fare to more substantial dishes.
Must-try dishes are the Fried Duck and Chinese five spice biscuits with tamarind sauce, Son-in-law eggs, crispy hard boiled eggs with ground chicken, crispy shallots and tamarind sauce. Raw Platters remain on the menu, an assortment of beautifully prepared sashimi, sushi and wakame salad. The Udon Pad Thai and Korean Short Ribs and Eggs are the perfect hangover cure. Follow up with the Mary Mary cocktail, a concoction of absolut, fresh yellow tomato, rice wine vinegar, clinatro, lime, chili, horseradish and cucumber Hamachi crudo. For the perfect ending indulge in a sweet treat, a delicate but very satisfying Sweet Roti, layered with condensed milk, and served with coconut ice cream.
All brunch items are new to the menu and have been “created to comfort the weekend soul,” and please the palate. On all counts NaiYara’s Sunday brunch delivered.
NaiYara is open for Sunday brunch from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.
