We’re just days away from the world’s largest in-water boat show. The 57th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will run November 3rd through 7th and will feature more than 1,500 boats displayed across more than 3 million square feet of exhibit space, but it’s these 5 show stopping, superyachts that make our list of “Must-See Vessels” at the show:
Heesen Yachts largest yacht to date, the Galactica Super Nova, 70m all-aluminium Fast Displacement superyacht has certainly commanded media and industry attention. Awarded Best Exterior Design and Finest New Superyacht of the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show, this extraordinary vessel isn’t just a sight to behold, it achieves a top speed of 30 knots.
The yacht boasts a 6m swim-jet infinity pool with waterfall, glass-paneled bottom and spa jets for hydro massage, 44 square meters space of folding platforms from the 146 square meters beach club, a shaded sundeck that includes sunpads, barbeque, bar, dining area and lounge. Plus the foredeck can be used as touch-and-go helipad, sunbathing, informal dining or transformed into an outdoor cinema.

Columbus Yachts, a Palumbo Group brand will debut its 40S Hybrid, a semi-displacement all-aluminum yacht to the US market. The environmentally friendly designed vessel is powered by advanced hybrid propulsion, and achieves a maximum speed of 22kts. The interior, which features large windows and eco-friendly materials sleeps ten guests in five staterooms with the owner’s suite and study on the main deck, and can accommodate a crew of nine. There is spacious deckspace, multiple sunning and dining arrangements.

NEW 131 YACHT
The stunning tri-deck Sunseeker 131 Yacht delivers the most sought after elements in modern super yacht design. The main deck features a lounge, separate dining area and full galley. Upper deck includes sky lounge, cocktail bar and access to the skydeck. Accommodates up to twelve guests.
The largest Hakvoort launched to date, the 61meter superyacht features five decks, four guest suites, with the VIP stateroom strategically placed on the main deck to maximize the views. Montecarlo Yachts’ highly customized MCY 105, the 6th unit produced so far in the companys state-of-the-art shipyard in Italy since its unveiling last year, will make its US debut alongside three other MCY models ((MCY 65, MCY 70, MCY 76).
The MCY 105, which is the largest in the MCY Collection, empowers owners to personalize their yacht to match a unique lifestyle. Custom designs incorporate all the decks, with three, four or five cabin layout options. Complementary arrangements of the main deck and flybridge areas are designed to offer exceptional liveability.
